Three held after €500,000 cocaine seizure in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three people following the seizure of more than €500,000 worth of cocaine in the city yesterday.

Seven kilos of the drug were discovered during a joint operation in the Drumcondra area involving the Gardaí, Customs and international law enforcement agencies.

A 67-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were arrested in Drumcondra and are being questioned at Santry garda station in connection with the haul.

A 22-year-old woman was also arrested in the Rathgar area and taken to Ballymun garda station.
