Mahon witness met Ahern four or five times before loan

One of the men who gave money to Bertie Ahern in 1994 has told the Mahon Tribunal he had only met Mr Ahern four or five times before he loaned him the cash.

Barry English, who was then aged 28, said he had no long-term relationship with Mr Ahern prior to handing over £5,000 to him in September of that year.
