Gardaí name victim of fatal Co Donegal car crash

Gardaí have named the man who died in a road accident in Co Donegal yesterday.

He was 24-year-old Barry Gallagher from Killybegs in Donegal.

A second man was seriously injured in the two-car collision near Inver, and remains in hospital this afternoon.

In total, nine people have been killed in car crashes in the North and Republic of Ireland so far this weekend.
