Second NCB official disputes Taoiseach's testimony
A former finance director with the NCB stockbrokers has told the Mahon tribunal that he believed a payment from the company to Bertie Ahern was a political donation.
Chris Mc Hugh said that, in 1993, his managing director Padraic O'Connor told him the company was being asked by Fianna Fáil fundraiser Des Richardson to make a donation to Bertie Ahern's constituency fund.
This version of events conflicts with previous comments of the Taoiseach, who indicated he had received a personal donation from Mr O'Connor.
