Search mounted as car seen driving off Wexford pier

A major search operation is underway in Wexford for the occupants of a car that is believed to have driven off the pier at Cahore.

Two eye witnesses reported seeing a dark-coloured car, with two people inside, going into the water just after 8am.

The Irish Coastguard helicopter, garda divers and lifeboat crews from Courtown and Cahore are involved in the search.
