Man arrested with assault rifle in Dublin city centre

Gardaí in Dublin are questioning a 22-year-old man following the seizure of an assault rifle in the city centre last night.

The weapon was found with a quantity of ammunition when gardaí stopped a man on Camden St shortly before 9pm and searched a hold-all he was carrying.
