Ahern, Harney meet new Cancer Control Director

Ireland's new Director of Cancer Control is due to brief the Taoiseach and the Minister for Health today about his plans for overhauling cancer services.

Professor Tom Keane, a Canadian expert, has been appointed to oversee the streamlining of cancer services in eight specialist "centres of excellence".
