Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Coolock crash

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a serious road accident in Coolock last night.

A pedestrian was knocked down by a car on the Tonlegee Road at 9pm.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and is being treated at Beaumont Hospital and is believed to be in a critical condition.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed anything to come forward.
