11 institutions to get €87m in Govt science funding

Third-level institutions across the country are set to receive €87m in new Government funding aimed at boosting their involvement in science.

Eleven colleges and universities will benefit from the money, which will be used to employ almost 500 researchers to work on cutting-edge projects.
