Ireland in line for €375m in European social funding

The European Social Fund has allocated new funding for disadvantaged areas in Ireland.

The European Social Fund has allocated new funding for disadvantaged areas in Ireland.

A total of €375m in grants is being given to local communities here.

Two thirds of the money will be spent in border, midland and western counties and the remainder in the south and east over the next seven years.
