Man arrested in Criminal Assets probe

The Criminal Assets Bureau has arrested a man as part of an investigation into revenue offences, gardaí said.

The man, in his 50s, was arrested in the Dundalk area and is being detained at Drogheda Garda Station.

He is being held under the Criminal Assets Bureau Act.

“The operation was supported by national and specialist units,” said a Garda spokesman.

The man is to appear at a sitting of the District Court in Ardee, Co Louth, tomorrow morning.
