Premier Foods in Thurles expected to close

Around 80 workers at the Premier Foods plant in Co Tipperary could be facing into a bleak Christmas this year.

A decision is believed to have been taken at a Premier Foods board meeting in the UK last night to close the former Erin Foods facility in Thurles.
