Man due back in court over Kildare firearm and drugs offences
A man in his 30s will appear again in court charged in connection with a firearms and drugs raid in Co Kildare on Friday.
He appeared before a special sitting of Naas District Court last night.
He was remanded in custody to Cloverhill prison to be brought before the court again.
A woman, who was also arrested as part of the investigation, was released without charge.
The Director of Public Prosecution will decide whether to take the case further.
Two sawn off shotguns and three pistols, along with ammunition, drugs paraphernalia, balaclavas and cocaine believed to be worth €100,000 was discovered during the Garda search near the Curragh.
