Two pedestrians killed in separate road accidents

Two pedestrians died after being hit by cars during separate road accidents in Co Waterford and Co Donegal this morning.

A man in his 40s died after being knocked down on the N72 between Lismore and Tallow in Co Waterford, while a man in his 60s died after being hit at Trimeragh in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.
