Three men continue to be questioned by gardaí this morning in connection with the discovery of a drugs processing plant in Dublin.

Gardaí say they uncovered a major cocaine preparation factory following a number of raids in the south of the city.

Four people in total were arrested during the operation in south and west Dublin on Friday evening.

A man in his late thirties who was detained following searches of a house in Tallaght has since been released, and a file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí are continuing to question two men following a raid on a warehouse on the Greenhills Road in Walkinstown, where gardaí uncovered a cocaine factory operated by a major south Dublin gang.

Around €500,000 worth of the drug was discovered, along with several firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

Detectives are also questioning a 28-year-old man who arrested at a house in Clondalkin during the same operation.
