Man due in court over Drogheda fire

A man is due in court this afternoon in connection with a fire at an apartment complex in Drogheda.

60 people were evacuated from the building on the North Quay after the blaze broke out at around two o'clock yesterday morning.

It took firefighters three hours to bring it under control.

The building was extensively damaged.
