Four people were arrested in connection with an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity in Dublin.

Firearms, ammunition, drugs and cash were seized during three separate raids in the city last night.

The first search happened at a house in Clondalkin, where a 28-year-old man was arrested.

A short time later, gardaí raided a house in the Tallaght area and seized cannabis and cocaine worth €60,000.

A man in his thirties was arrested at the scene and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.

At around ten o'clock last night, two men were arrested following a raid on a warehouse on the Greenhills Road in Walkinstown.

Cocaine worth €500,000 was seized, along with a number of firearms and ammunition.
