Two charged with robbery and rape of foreign national

A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court for the trial of two west Dublin men charged with raping and robbing one foreign national and with robbing seven other foreign women last year.

Both men, aged 35 and 30 respectively, have pleaded not guilty to raping one foreign female and robbing her of €950 cash and four mobile phones at a city centre address on August 24, 2006.
