Man killed in gangland-style gun attack in Dublin

A 27-year-old man has died following a gangland-style gun attack in the Finglas area of west Dublin this morning.

The victim was shot a number of times while he was sitting in car on Cloonlara Drive just before 2am.

He died a short time later at the Mater Hospital.

The scene of the shooting has been sealed off for technical examination and an incident room has been set up at Finglas Garda Station.
