Boyle elected Green Party chairperson

Members of the Green Party today elected Senator Dan Boyle as the party's new cathaoirleach, or chairperson.

Five candidates contested for the position, which involves chairing meetings of the national convention, management committee and other meetings related to electoral and party strategy.
