A serious rift has emerged in the North's power-sharing executive over SDLP minister Margaret Ritchie's decision to withdraw British Government funding from the UDA.

Ms Ritchie has claimed that the official record of an executive meeting last week was altered to make it look like she agreed not to make any decision on the matter without further consulting her ministerial colleagues.
