The trial of a Clare man accused of sexually assaulting his two daughters is continuing with legal arguement in the absence of the jury at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

The 36-year-old man, who is originally from County Clare and cannot be named for legal reasons, has pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of sexual assault on the girls, on dates between September 2001 and December 2004 in a Co Offaly town.
