The Bishop of Killaloe, Dr Willie Walsh, has donated lands worth an estimated €10m for the development of facilities for the elderly in Ennis, Co Clare.

The Bishop of Killaloe, Dr Willie Walsh, has donated lands worth an estimated €10m for the development of facilities for the elderly in Ennis, Co Clare.

A dedicated day care centre and a number of individual houses are planned for the 15 acres of prime development land at the back of Cahercalla hospital.
