Linehan: Garda operation to compliment trafficking Bill

A massive covert investigation is under way into trafficking of people into Ireland to be sold for sex and work, the Government revealed today.

Minister for Justice Brian Lenihan said gardaí are working with police in the UK as part of a huge intelligence operation ahead of an expected crackdown later this year.
