The trial of a 21-year-old Limerick man for the alleged Halloween Night rape of a woman walking home alone from a disco has continued in legal argument in the absence of the jury at the Central Criminal Court today.

The accused has pleaded not guilty to raping and sexually assaulting the woman on October 31, 2005 in a Co Limerick town. It is day-four of the trial.
