Ministers’ expenses criticised

The opposition is blasting mileage expenses of Government ministers as a farce.

It follows figures obtained by the Irish Independent which show that Junior Minister Noel Ahern, who represents Dublin North-West, ran up a mileage bill of over €19,000 last year.
