Campaigner slams Ireland's drug treatment facilities

Ireland's drug treatment facilities are inhumanely inadequate, according to a leading social justice campaigner.

A conference in Co Kerry today has heard that some heroin users who want to get off the drug are forced to wait up to two years for methadone treatment.
