Man still in custody in connection with Dennehy murder

A 41-year-old remains in Garda custody this morning in connection with the murder of Finbar Dennehy in Dublin.

The man was arrested at a guesthouse in the city centre on Saturday evening.

Mr Dennehy was found dead at his apartment in the Clontarf area on Wednesday by a friend who had been unable to get in contact with him.

A post mortem revealed he died of a single stab wound.
