Man shot in both legs by masked gunmen in Dublin

A 48-year-old man is receiving hospital treatment after being seriously injured in a shooting at his home in Dublin last night.

The victim was shot in both legs by masked gunmen who broke into his home on Ring Street in Inchicore at around 10.30pm.

He is being treated at Saint James' Hospital.

The incident was the third violent shooting in Dublin in as many days.
