Shots fired at house in Dublin

Gardaí have launched a manhunt after shots were fired in the early hours of this morning at a house on Mourne Road, Crumlin, Dublin.

One, possibly two, culprits made their escape in the direction of the church on Mourne Road, and made their escape in a small white car, possibly the size of a Fiesta.

This incident comes less than 24 hours after a uniformed member of the Garda Traffic Corps was shot while attempting to apprehend a stolen car in Dublin.

Father-of-two, Paul Sherlock, remains in a stable condition at the Mater Hospital this morning after he was shot in the left side of his stomach.
