Man dies in collision involving car and lorry

A 20-year-old man has died tonight after a collision between a lorry and a car.

The accident happened just after 4pm at Kildimo, Limerick.

A garda spokesman said: “Gardaí from Askeaton Garda station, Limerick are investigating a fatal road collision which happened after 4pm today at Kildimo, Limerick.

“A car and an articulated lorry were in collision resulting in the death of the 20-year-old male driver of the car,” he said.
