Hand gun found on Ryanair flight

A man has been arrested after a hand gun was found on a Ryanair flight yesterday afternoon, UK police said.

The discovery was made on a flight from Gerona airport, near Barcelona, to Blackpool.

A 39-year-old man was arrested after the plane landed.

Lancashire Police said their intelligence showed that: “It is certainly not terrorism related.”

The weapon is described as a blank-firing hand gun.
