Footage of Lusk robbery to be shown at Coroner's Court

Extensive footage of an attempted armed raid at Lusk Post Office in 2005 is to be shown in Dublin Coroner's Court today.

40 minutes of CCTV captured the events before, during and after the violence which left two raiders dead.

Colm Griffin and Eric Hopkins from Dublin were shot dead by armed Gardaí after a tip-off.

A third man, Gavin Farrelly from Sheriff Street, is serving a ten-year sentence after surrendering at the scene.

He's due to give evidence to the inquest before elite members of the garda emergency response unit are also called.
