Greens gather for traditional pre-Dáil 'think-in'
The Green Party is gathering in Co Wicklow today for the start of its traditional 'think-in' ahead of the new Dáil term.
The party will be using the meeting to discuss how to get its policies implemented following its decision to enter coalition with Fianna Fáil and the Progressive Democrats.
Spokesman Ciaran Cuffe says this decision has given even more importance to this week's discussions.
"For the past five years, we've had think-ins about what we might do if we were in government," he says.
"We're now in government and . . . people are expecting an awful lot from the Green Party. I think the public will like what they hear from our think-in over the next few days.
