Man arrested after firearm seizure in north Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in his early 20s following the seizure of a firearm and a small amount of cannabis during a raid this morning.

The raid was carried out at a house in Gloucester Place, in the north inner city, just after 9am.

The man in custody is being detained under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
