Taoiseach to face tough questions at Mahon Tribunal

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is due in the witness box at the Mahon Tribunal today to answer questions about his personal finances in the 1990s.

The tribunal is investigating a number of large payments received by Mr Ahern from wealthy businessmen and friends.
