Man remains in custody after fatal knife attack

Gardaí at Ballyfermot in Dublin are continuing to question a 31-year-old man following a fatal knife attack early yesterday.

28 year old Alan Nolan died after an incident at an apartment in Cedarbrook Walk, Cherry Orchard yesterday morning.

A post mortem confirmed that he was killed by a single stab wound.

A second man who was injured at the scene was taken to Saint James's Hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
