Post mortem due on man who died at festival

A 23-year-old man has died suddenly at the Electric Picnic music festival.

Medics at the festival treated the young man at around 2 this morning before bringing him to Portlaoise General Hospital.

He was pronounced dead on arrival.

Gardaí are not treating the death as suspicious but a post mortem on the body is to be carried out.
