Man dies at Electric Picnic Festival

A 23-year-old man died at the Electric Picnic music festival, gardaí said today.

A 23-year-old man died at the Electric Picnic music festival, gardaí said today.

The young man was discovered unconscious at the venue in Stradbally, Co Laois at around 2am this morning and rushed to hospital.

He was later pronounced dead at the Portlaoise General Hospital.

Gardaí said foul play is not suspected.
