Soldiers fined over YouTube video
Three Irish soldiers have been fined after an incident in Liberia in which two of them were shown pointing a weapon at members of the public.
The third soldier had uploaded a video of the incident onto YouTube in May.
The soldiers had been on peacekeeping duties with the UN at the time.
The fines followed a military hearing in Stephens Barracks, Kilkenny, where all three are stationed.
They ranged from €150 to €250.
All soldiers involved accepted the findings of the hearing.
