Donegal man out of Senegal jail after being granted bail

The Donegal student arrested for public exposure in Senegal has been released on bail today pending his trial next week.

The Donegal student arrested for public exposure in Senegal has been released on bail today pending his trial next week.

Nineteen-year-old Patrick Devine has been in prison since being arrested on July 27 after dropping his trousers on a public street as part of a dare.

The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed this morning that he had been granted bail by the court of appeal in Dakar.

However, the conditions imposed are still not known.
