Cavan wind farm officially opens

A new wind farm was officially opened in Co Cavan today.

There are 32 wind turbines on Bindoo farm, which can produce enough green energy to supply around 30,000 homes.

According to Airtricity, which runs the facility, the clean energy it creates is equivalent to taking 30,000 off the road.
