Wexford death: Man remains in garda custody

A 27-year-old man remains in garda custody this morning in connection with the suspicious death of another man in Wexford town yesterday.

The dead man, who was in his 40s, was found in a house on Selskar Street in the early hours of yesterday morning.

He is believed to have been found at the bottom of stairs leading to his apartment.

The man being questioned by gardaí was arrested at the scene.
