Love Tara march in Dublin today

Tara Watch is presenting a petition of 50,000 signatures to the Department of the Environment as part of their dispute over the M3 motorway.

The group is calling on the Minister for the Environment, John Gormley, to re-route the motorway away from the Hill of Tara site.

The petition is part of the Love Tara march, which is now underway in Dublin.

Spokesman Vincent Salafia says the march is the last chance for the public to show their support for the preservation of the Hill of Tara.
