Mayo man accused of raping daughter

A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court for the trial of a Mayo father charged with serious sexual assaults on his now teenage daughter.

The 48-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to three sample counts from an indictment of more than 50 charges and will be arraigned before the trial judge on further counts.
