Gardaí are investigating the death of teenage girl in County Donegal last night.

Gardaí are investigating the death of teenage girl in County Donegal last night.

The 15-year-old was found dead at a flat on Main Street in Ballintra shortly before midnight.

The body has been removed to Letterkenny Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place tomorrow.

It is believed the girl was from Belfast.

The scene at Ballintra has been sealed off for technical examination.
