Man killed in Finglas gun attack

A man has been shot dead in north Dublin.

The shooting happened in a house on Ratoath Drive in Finglas at around 9am, when two men entered the house and shot the man, who's believed to be in his 30s.

A silver Opel Vectra car which was used in the incident was found abandoned on nearby Ratoath Avenue.

Both areas have been sealed off and are being preserved for a forensic examination.

The State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau are due at the scene shortly, and the Gardaí in Finglas have appealed for information.
