32-year-old Romanian man found dead in Drogheda

A 32 year-old man was found dead in the garden of his house in the Brookville estate in Drogheda late last night.

The man - who's believed to be from Romania - was found shortly before 11 o'clock.

Gardaí in Co Louth are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

The man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in the Drogheda, where he was pronounced dead.

The scene at the house in Brookville has been sealed off for a technical examination.

The State Pathologist Doctor Marie Cassidy has been notified and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out at Louth County Hospital later.
