Cowen promises to tackle inflation in next Budget

The Minister for Finance Brian Cowen has said he'll deal with inflation in the next budget.

He has said a series of interest rate increases has undoubtedly had an effect on inflation here and that the government will continue to do what it can to curb rising costs.
