President lays wreath at veteran commemoration

President Mary McAleese has laid a wreath on behalf of the Irish people, following a multi-faith service in the grounds of the Royal Hospital today.

The President and the Taoiseach have joined scores of former and serving members of the defence forces at today's national commemoration at Kilmainham in Dublin.
